The De Minimis rule, which previously exempted imports valued under USD 800 from customs duties and taxes, has been abolished as of August 29, 2025.

Now, all imported goods are subject to customs duties and taxes. In addition, DHL or FedEx may charge an advance duty collection payment (brokerage) fee to the recipient at the time of import.
